Church Street Chicken & BBQ is a unique restaurant that offers home-style cooking, delicious southern BBQ and country style breakfast favorites. What started as a labor of love back in 2018 in Cave City, KY has developed into a second location in Greenbrier, TN. Located inside Crossroads IGA stores in rural communities, these stores offer a touch of home-cooking for hungry folks on-the-go.
“Our hand breaded, freshly fried and marinated chicken is the best around, along with our special recipes and freshly smoked BBQ. Our breakfast is out of this world and you won’t be disappointed with our made from scratch breakfast biscuits,” said Gene Benton, District Manager for the Restaurant.
Unlike other QSR (quick-service restaurants) in Crossroads IGA stores, such as Which Wich and Subway, Church Street is solely owned and operated by Houchens Industries. Built from the ground up to be familiar and delicious, getting the restaurants opened and running has been a considerable collaborate effort between many departments within the corporate office as well as the teams running the restaurants themselves.
While efforts are on-going to continue to build the brand and develop the menu, overall, both locations are doing well and have received praise from the local communities they serve.
